As a condition of sale, Aspen Resources Ltd. must construct each home, which must be customized to each building lot. Aspen's subsidiary, Tamlyn Construction Ltd. represents the construction component of the operation, and both companies are owned and operated by Douglas Tamlyn.

Each lot has 0-slope to accommodate walkout lower levels or slab on grades. Homes built by Tamlyn Construction pay particular attention to comfort by super insulating techniques, draft-free construction and in-floor radiant hot water heating. Only natural building products are permitted, as outlined in the coventants. Most lots have incredible views, meaning that large windows and solar heating are often incorporated.
