Falcon Ridge is a new family community developed by Aspen Resources located on the west side of Halifax Harbour, adjacent to the seaside community of Ferguson's Cove. Falcon Ridge is a community that reflects lifestyle, where homes are located on building lots of two or more acres each. These lots have an assortment of hardwood trees, including birch, maple, poplar, jack pine, black spruce, as well as a few spring fed brooks.

This sixty acre parcel is bordered by crown land on the north and west sides, thus preventing future development. The exclusive estates of Redoubt Head are found on the south side of the development, and consist of two to four acre estate homes for sale and lots for sale, varying in price from three hundred to four hundred thousand dollars.

The east side of Falcon Ridge borders the Purcell's Cove Road. Located across this road is the National Historic Site of York Redoubt, a fortress that defended Halifax Harbour in the eighteenth century. This well-preserved site of several acres is perfect for strolls along the harbour, family picnics, watching ships sailing in and out of Halifax, or for trying your luck in fishing or whale watching.
